Kenya Data Networks (KDN) has another partner in business. A few days after partnering with ECI Telecom for a network upgrade, KDN has a new partner in the stable, Teldor Cables & Systems this time to supply and deploy a fibre optic network to be used in KDN’s new data centre. Teldor Cables works through a local partner, Amiran Communications, a Telecommunications Company.
In this partnership Teldor C&S design, supplies components, support a Building Management Systems and undertake a fibre optic network layout within the data centre. The data centre is proposed for hosting applications to serve international and local businesses, location is on Mombasa road.
MTP®, the technology in use, is a Multiple-Fibre Push-On (MPO) compatible connector which provides quick and reliable connection for high density fibre cores.
The partnership comes at a time when KDN continues to improve and upgrade its services as it affirms its leadership position in telecommunications infrastructure in the region.
