Lumia 928 Verizon

The latest from the Lumia oven is out, the Lumia 928. This is the device that made Stephen Elop, Nokia CEO throw away an iPhone on live national TV interview. He was later quoted to say that there is a “hero device” coming out in Q2 that will be the darling of a large wireless carrier. It was also leaked earlier on, including a microsite on Nokia website that had little to say but tease. Here we have it, exclusive to Verizon Wireless.

The Lumia 928 features an 8.7MP rear camera with a wide-angle Carl Zeiss lens and Xenon Flash. The screen is a 4.5 inch OLED display and has two colour options, black and white in a unibody that is new in design, slightly looks like the Lumia 720. Lumia 928 comes with distortion free audio capture enabled by three HAAC (high-audio-amplitude-capture) microphones. It comes prepared for 4G LTE. It comes with built-in wireless charging. Specs and colours are modest enough to not upset the average Lumia 920 user since this is an exclusive device they wouldn’t get if they are not covered by Verizon or wouldn’t want to get tied up by a telco.
