Sometime earlier in the year, actually the evening just before Mobile World Congress in February, Microsoft announced partners with whom the Redmond company would work with in Windows Phone Platform.
Outside of the usual culprits Nokia, Samsung, HTC and Huawei, there emerged other interesting bedfellows, including some that had sweared against the platform. LG, ZTE, XOLO, Lenovo, Karbonn, JSR, Longcheer, Gionee and Foxconn were among the others listed by Microsoft as partners moving forward.
It’s interesting to see LG has already been working on their part to get branded blue and white.
Well known leakstar EV Leaks has an image out, of a supposed LG Uni8 running Windows Phone 8.1. The phone is a black slab well, and it looks like it could be somewhere around 5 inch in screen size, front camera present and on-screen touch controls.
The image doesn’t reveal much apart from the phone design which kind of takes after the LG L series and no buttons on the right side of the phone. This having come out, it shouldn’t long before we see the LG Windows Phone back again and by extension LG’s first Windows Phone 8.1 device..
