Just after Sony went public with its announcement that indeed Grand Theft Auto V, the latest version of Rockstar Games’ highly successful series, will be coming to its PlayStation 4 console at its E3 conference, Rockstar just had to go official with the announcement. To the excitement of all the anxious PC gamers out there, yes GTA V is also coming to the PC in addition to the PS4 as earlier confirmed and of course Microsoft’s own gaming console, Xbox One.

The popular game has so far been available on the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360 and the two new gaming consoles that came out towards the end of last year were yet to get it even though that was to come at some point. What was still vague was availability for the PC since there’s a huge crowd of gaming nerds who’ve taken a lot of time to build their own powerful custom gaming PCs that can take anything you throw at them.

As per the Rockstar website, the game will be available on the PS4, PC and Xbone in fall (late September this year onwards) and will feature “across-the-board graphical and technical improvements to deliver a stunning new level of detail. Increased draw distances, finer texture details, denser traffic, and enhanced resolutions all work together to bring new life to the cities, towns, deserts and oceans of Rockstar North’s epic reimagining of Southern California.”

The good news is that those who had already been gaming on other platforms and consoles will be able to carry with them their career progress thanks to GTA Online.
