Almost a full day since the hawk-eyed editors over at Android Central spotted the giant posters at the airport announcing the imminent arrival of Huawei’s Android Wear smartwatch at Mobile World Congress, much has happened. Huawei Netherlands posted a video to hype things up before the actual grand unveiling later on in a few hours.
Huawei’s main YouTube account however just spiced things up with these two new clips that out the smartwatch itself revealing what may be the most beautiful Android Wear smartwatch so far. Yes, forget the Moto360. It has a circular watch face with stainless steel unibody design and no, unlike the Moto360, there’s no presence of that infamous “flat tyre” at the bottom of the circular display to accommodate the display’s drivers.

The Huawei Watch has a crown (like the Apple Watch’s digital crown – physical placement and functionality differs though) and Huawei is bundling several custom watchfaces. It has a 42 mm diameter and also features interchangeable straps. The surface of the watch is made from sapphire glass so there won’t be any scratches nor risk of breakage. The Apple Watch which will be going on sale next week also has sapphire glass. This is according to the second unlisted video that Huawei has just posted on YouTube. See it for yourself:

Huawei Watch is the company’s first smartwatch. It already has another wearable device, the Talkband B1 that debuted at last year’s MWC.
