Another day, another new Samsung Galaxy smartphone. This time round it’s the Galaxy On8. It has no “(2016)” because it is, to use Game of Thrones parlance, the first of its name. This is the first time that Samsung is offering the Galaxy On8 so it is essentially a new member of the mid-range Galaxy On series unlike the Galaxy On5 and On7 which got a refresh just 4 days ago.
Like the Galaxy On7, the Galaxy On8 features a 5.5-inch display and an all-metal body. Unlike past GalaxyOn devices, though, the display tech deployed is Super AMOLED instead of LCD.

The Galaxy On8 will go on sale in India through online platform Flipkart for an equivalent of Kshs 24,000 in the first week of October.
