After concluding the #FormNi50 campaign that gifted 50 lucky customers with Toyota Beltas, Kenya’s third telecoms operators, Telkom, has launched another wave of promotions that target data-related activities.
These promotions are preceded by existing and concluded offers that still aim to increase the carrier’s bundle uptake across the country as it strives to be the go-to data mobile operator.
Precisely, select Freedom Bundles will be doubled as shown:
Offer Name | Price | Current Data | 4G Double Data |
---|---|---|---|
New Monthly 1GB | 249 | 1GB | 1GB |
Monthly Freedom 3GB | 499 | 3GB | 3GB |
Monthly Freedom 6GB | 999 | 6GB | 6GB |
Monthly Freedom 10GB | 1499 | 10GB | 10GB |
Monthly Freedom 15GB | 1999 | 15GB | 15GB |
Monthly Freedom 30GB | 2999 | 30GB | 30GB |
Additionally, those who purchase 1GB of data on a daily basis at KES 99 will be gifted with the same amount of data. Also, it should be noted that the Telco added a 1GB offer that stretches through 30 days at KES 249, which is a slightly higher price owing to the bundle’s extended validity period.
Another crucial point is that additional data only works if users are within Telkom’s 4G zones, which, as of mid-2018, covered 28 towns in the country. The number should be high at the moment, which is why you should check if your zone is supported before you commit to these deals.
Discounts on Alcatel Mi-Fi Router
The telco has also slashed the cost of its Alcatel Mi-Fi router by KES 1,000. The device will now cost KES 3,999 and will be bundled with 10 gigs of data valid for 30 days after activation.
The entire set of offers (double data offers and discount for the router) will end on May 26.
