Huawei will later today be launching the P40 series. The new Huawei P40 phones will come with its new HMS ecosystem which is an alternative to Google Mobile Servies which means they’ll be no support for Google apps and services on the phone. However, the phone will ship with Android 10 and EMUI 10.1.
The Huawei P40 series which are the latest flagship cameraphones of the Chinese tech giant will be unveiled in an online-only event at 13:00 GMT(4:00 PM Kenyan Time). The launch event was scheduled to be a Paris event but with fears over COVID-19, the event got cancelled like many tech conferences and smartphone launch events that were slated to happen this year such as Google I/O and Facebook F8 conference.
Huawei is using the tagline Vision Photography and thanks to leaked photo samples, the Huawei P40 series is packing serious heat in that department.
The company’s CEO, Richard Yu will head the keynote. His speech will be translated into several different languages including English, Spanish, French, Italian, Arabic, and Russian to cater to its global audience.
