Airtel Kenya is going into the entertainment market with the launch of Airtel TV.
The app is a streaming service that we have come to experience from other vendors. However, Airtel TV is the first of its kind, that is, the first mobile operator to launch such a product.
According to the carrier, customers who will download the app will have access to entertainment content, both from the local and international markets.
The app is available for both Android and iOS users.
Customers will enjoy access to a range of content from top studios that will include movies, drama, documentaries, music and cartoons.
This includes:
• BBC
• Nickelodeon
• Universal among others
The services can be accessed without a subscription.
All you need is an Airtel Kenya mobile number and a smartphone that you will then use to buy data and download the app and enjoy watching at that instant in your smart device.
“Airtel TV has no monthly subscriptions and is accessible as long as you have data for streaming,” says Airtel Networks Kenya Ltd CEO Prasanta Das Sarma who expressed excitement upon launching the new product.
