Sony Xperia Miro

Sony has unveiled additional products to their portfolio, bringing to 9, the number of Sony Xperia smartphones announced since the beginning of this year. Sony Xperia S was the first, then Xperia P, Xperia U, Xperia Sola, Xperia Go, and Xperia Acro S. The most recent bundles of joy are the Sony Xperia Miro and Xperia Tipo the latter one which has a dual sim option. The three smartphones will be available running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. Sony goes on to launch products with deep facebook integration, and these are.

The Xperia Miro and Xperia Tipo are both mid-range smartphones with 800MHz processors and 512MB RAM and other specs that I am going to list below here indicate so too. Both have surprisingly good batteries for these small size screen, a 1500mAh battery, which Sony says can do 24 hours. It would be hard though, to picture the two running smoothly on ICS with a 512Mb RAM.

Xperia Miro is a 3.5 inch block shaped smartphone like the predecessors Xperia S and Xperia P.

Sony Xperia Miro

Complete Xperia Miro Specifications:

  •  800 MHz Qualcomm MSM7225A processor.
  • Xperia™ miro ST23i supports UMTS HSPA 900 (Band VIII), 2100 (Band I), and GSM GPRS/EDGE 850, 900, 1800, 1900.

Xperia Tipo is a 3.2 inch screen phone with 320x 482 pixels display and the shape is abit more curved, mostly at the bottom. Looking at the top you get the impression that it looks like one of the low end Samsung Androids, but the bezel is slanted at the bottom to give a unique feel to it.

Sony Xperia Tipo

  • 800 MHz Qualcomm MSM7225A processor.
  • Xperia™ tipo ST21i and ST21i2 supports UMTS HSPA 900 (Band VIII), 2100 (Band I), and GSM GPRS/EDGE 850, 900, 1800, 1900.
