Samsung Grand 2

Samsung Grand 2

Samsung today introduced the successor to the Galaxy Grand, the Galaxy Grand 2. The Grand 2 is slightly larger with a 5.25 inch screen compared to Grand’s 5 inch screen. Galaxy Grand was the first Samsung device with high end specs running Dual SIM and this resonated well among many consumers due to it’s specs versus price point intersection.

The Grand 2 is just a way to show that therre was good demand for the first Grand. I personally liked Grand, the Grand 2 with a specs boost should be a much better experience. Looks like there is no option for single SIM on the Grand 2 also and Grand was Samsung’s attempt at bringing dual-SIM to the high end.

Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 Specifications:

  • 5.25 inch HD TFT
  • Android 4.3 Jelly Bean
  • 1.2 GHz Quad Core Processor
  • 1.5GB RAM
  • 8GB Internal Memory with support of 64GB microSD
  • 8MP AF camera with LED Flash, 1.9MP front
  • USB 2.0
  • WiFI, Bluetooth 4.0
  • 146.8 x 75.3 x 8.9mm
  • 156 grams
  • 2600mAh

The device which will be available in three colours, White, Black and Pink and in select regions will come wearing some fancy features in the camera. These include Best Face, Best Photo and Continous Shot. Others include preinstalles S Apps like Story Album, S Translator, S Travel, Sound & Shot and Samsung Link.

The Grand to also takes after the Galaxy Note 3 in terms of the rear cover leather design that makes it looks premium.
