Xiaomi Redmi Note 10, Note 10 Pro Officially Launched in Kenya

Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 series has officially been launched in Kenya. The Redmi Note 10 series succeed the popular Redmi Note 9 series from last year and they become the latest mid-range smartphones in the country.

The Redmi Note 10 and Note 10 Pro bring a host of new upgrades and features that a lot of consumers are going to love.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 10

Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 comes with a 6.43″ AMOLED display with a centred hole punch to accommodate the selfie camera.

Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 678 processor runs the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 coupled with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of fast UFS 2.2 onboard storage. 

For those who want extra storage, you can expand with a microSD card (512GB).

Android 11 and MIUI 12 come already installed.

For photography, the Redmi Note 10 rocks a a 48MP quad-camera setup that also comprises an 8MP ultrawide camera, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro camera. 

We also have a 13MP front-facing camera housed in the punch-hole. 

Lighting up the Redmi Note 10 is a a 5000mAh battery with support for 33W fast Type-C charging. 

The Redmi Note 10 comes with an infrared blaster, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for biometrics, a headphone jack, stereo speakers and an IP53 rating.

Xiaomi saved the best for the Pro version.

Redmi NOte 10 Pro ships with a 6.67″ FHD+ AMOLED display that features a 120Hz high refresh rate and HDR10 certification.

That’s a new for midrange smartphones in Kenya. Most smartphones in Kenya with high refresh rate displays top at 90Hz.

We have a Snapdragon 732G processor under the hood of the Redmi Note 10 Pro together with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage with the same expandable options as its smaller sibling.

Redmi Note 10 Pro comes with Android 11 and MIUI 12 straight out of the box.

For optics, we have a 108MP quad camera setup that also includes an 8MP ultrawide camera, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 5MP macro camera. 

For selfies, we have a 16MP  front facing camera accommodated in the punch-hole cutout.

Redmi Note 10 Pro packs a slightly bigger battery at 5020mAh battery with support for 33W fast wired charging via Type-C port.

Redmi Note comes in Gradient Bronze, Glacier Blue and Onyx Grey colours

Xiaomi is bringing the two devices in various configurations including:

Redmi Note 10 Pro –

  • 6GB RAM/64GB storage: Ksh 27,499
  • 6GB RAM/128GB storage: Ksh 29,999
  • 8GB RAM/128GB storage: Ksh 31,899

Redmi Note 10

  • 4GB RAM/64GB storage: Ksh 19, 499
  • 4GB RAM/128GB storage: Ksh 21,499

Pre-orders for the Redmi Note 10 series will become available starting tomorrow and each pre-order will come packed with a FREE mi band 5.

The Redmi Note 10 series will be available on Xiaomi’s authorized Mi stores, Jumia and all retail outlets countrywide.
