Infinix Smart 10 HD

Infinix has rolled out its latest Smart 10 series, targeting budget-conscious consumers who don’t want to compromise on essential smartphone features.

The lineup consists of three devices: the Smart 10 HD, Smart 10, and Smart 10 Plus, each designed to serve different user needs at an affordable price.

Display and Design

All three phones feature generously sized screens that make them ideal for media consumption and daily tasks. The Smart 10 and Smart 10 Plus sport identical 6.67-inch HD+ LCD displays, while the Smart 10 HD comes with a slightly smaller 6.6-inch panel.

What sets these budget devices apart is their high refresh rate capabilities. The Smart 10 HD offers a smooth 90Hz experience, while its siblings deliver an even more fluid 120Hz refresh rate.

The displays reach impressive brightness levels, with the Smart 10 and Smart 10 Plus hitting 700 nits of peak brightness, making them usable even in direct sunlight.

The Smart 10 HD, while slightly dimmer at 500 nits, still provides adequate visibility for outdoor use.

Processor and Performance

Under the hood, Infinix has made some interesting choices. The Smart 10 and Smart 10 Plus are powered by the Unisoc T7250 chipset, which provides reliable performance for everyday tasks like social media browsing, light gaming, and multimedia consumption.

The Smart 10 HD takes a different approach with the Unisoc T606 processor, which is optimized for the Android 14 Go Edition experience.

Memory configurations vary across the lineup, with the Smart 10 Plus leading the pack with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.

The standard Smart 10 offers up to 4GB of RAM with extended RAM functionality, while the Smart 10 HD keeps things minimal with 2GB of RAM and 64GB of storage.

All three phones include microSD card slots, allowing users to expand storage up to 2TB.

Camera Capabilities

The Smart 10 HD features the most capable rear camera system with a 13-megapixel primary sensor paired with an AI lens, making it suitable for users who prioritize photography.

The Smart 10 and Smart 10 Plus both feature 8-megapixel rear cameras, which, while modest, should handle basic photography needs adequately.

For selfie lovers, all three phones come equipped with 8-megapixel front-facing cameras, complete with LED flash for better low-light performance.

The cameras across the lineup support 2K video recording, which is impressive for devices in this price range.

Battery and Charging

The Smart 10 Plus stands out with a massive 6,000mAh battery paired with 18W fast charging, ensuring all-day usage even for heavy users.

Meanwhile, the Smart 10 and Smart 10 HD both feature 5,000mAh batteries, which should easily last a full day of moderate use.

However, their charging speeds are less impressive, with the Smart 10 supporting 15W charging and the Smart 10 HD limited to 10W.

Audio and Software

One of the standout features across the Smart 10 series is the audio experience. All three phones feature dual speakers with DTS tuning, which is unusual for budget devices.

They also include a special 300% volume mode, making them ideal for users who frequently consume multimedia content or need louder audio output.

As for software, the Smart 10 HD runs Android 14 Go Edition with XOS 13, which is optimized for devices with limited RAM and storage.

The Smart 10 and Smart 10 Plus run the full Android 15 experience with XOS 15.1, providing access to the latest features and security updates.

Pricing and Availability

Infinix has positioned these devices competitively in the budget smartphone market. The Smart 10 Plus, now available in Malaysia, starts at 349 MYR (approximately KES 10,600) for the 4GB/128GB variant, while the 8GB/128GB model costs 399 MYR (around KES 12,200). The Smart 10 begins at 299 MYR (KES 9,100) for the 3GB/64GB configuration.

Color Options

  • Smart 10 – Sleek Black, Titanium Silver, Iris Blue, and Twilight Gold
  • Smart 10 Plus – Sleek Black, Titanium Silver, Iris Blue, and Ruby Red
  • Smart 10 HD – Timber Black, Shiny Gold, Crystal Green, and Galaxy White
