There has always been talk of wonderful twitter clients, and many wonderful things. But with fmobi, developed by Juuso Kosonen, you can talk about a wonderful facebook client for symbian smartphones. I hadnt really got interest in it till today. And when I tried it I was amazed by the sleekness, functionality and the UI.
Wait! I know these icons. They look similar to the Symbian Anna icons, but its Ok, the application is for Nokia smartphones, they look nice, dont they? The placement of shortcuts on the side bar was also a cool design. The app makes the usual battery indicator and other notifications change the icons, to smaller compact ones.
You would like this app in that you get all of facebook desktop version on the mobile phone. These being newsfeed, chat, pages, groups, notifications, friends, profile, events, comments, like, photo albums and many more. You even get to edit personal and security features straight from the app. The app even supports checkins.
Well I have not tried it on a non-touch phone so I would not be able to tell the experience, no this app is just for Symbian^3 phones, so no chance that there is a non-touch vybe here. All in all the app is good and i hone the developer is at work trying to cover those other versions like Series 60 and 40.
