Everyone is trying to outdo everyone, the consumer technology world is the most affected. We have seen 41 MP cameras, full HD, 2 GB RAM, Quad Core processors and other nice things put on phones. We are just about to get smartphones go into production bearing flexible displays, though Iā€™m yet to understand what that solves.

Kingston is such one company, fitting in a whopping 1 terabyte of storage inside your usual size flash disc. The DataTraveler HyperX Predator is the name of the device that is a USB 3.0 and can do 240 MB/s reading and writing at 160 MB/s that is coming within the first 3 months of 2013. The lesser storage option, the 512 GB version is priced at $1750, so you can try to assume what this one will cost. Leaves me wondering, would you walk around with a $3000 flash disc?
