Kingston 1TB flash disk

Everyone is trying to outdo everyone, the consumer technology world is the most affected. We have seen 41 MP cameras, full HD, 2 GB RAM, Quad Core processors and other nice things put on phones. We are just about to get smartphones go into production bearing flexible displays, though I’m yet to understand what that solves.

Kingston is such one company, fitting in a whopping 1 terabyte of storage inside your usual size flash disc. The DataTraveler HyperX Predator is the name of the device that is a USB 3.0 and can do 240 MB/s reading and writing at 160 MB/s that is coming within the first 3 months of 2013. The lesser storage option, the 512 GB version is priced at $1750, so you can try to assume what this one will cost. Leaves me wondering, would you walk around with a $3000 flash disc?
