Vibe Z is Lenovo first smartphone to offer LTE connectivity. This comes with up to 150 Mbps download and 50 Mbps upload. Lenovo chose to power the new device with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 quadcore offering 2.2GHz. This a move from Intel chips which powered previous devices from the manufacturer.
Similar to the Vibe X, the new device features a scratch resistant textured plastic back which also doesn’t do finger print smudges. It has support for up to 16 GB internal storage and 2 GB memory running Android 4.3.
Lenovo Vibe Z has a thickness of 7.9 mm, 5.5″ IPS screen with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. The rear camera’s resolution is 13 MP with the front camera’s resolution at 5 MP.
Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Saudi Arabia, UAE and Philippines should be getting the device in February priced at $549.
