Updates and LG are two words that look peculiar when put in the same sentence. Maybe that is changing. LG has started seeding Android 4.4 KitKat update to users of the LG Optimus G Pro in its home country of Korea.
Users of LG’s former flagship device with models F240S and F240L can readily get the update over the air while the rest who rock other models in that country will get them in due course.
The international Optimus G Pro users may have to wait a little longer before the update hits the international market. It had been reported before that LG was still considering releasing an update for its almost forgotten device and we are glad that this came to pass.
It is only a few hours ago that the international version of the LG G2 started getting its KitKat update several months after LG started seeding the update in Korea. The update also comes a day after the LG G Pro, this year’s version of the Optimus G Pro, went on sale in several Asian countries.
