LG Updates its K Series Mid-range Smartphones, Debuts Third Generation Stylo Phone

LG’s list of announcements made at CES 2017 now includes 5 new mid-range smartphones, four in its mid-range K series and one from its stylus-totting Stylo range.

LG first announced the K series at last year’s International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) with 3 devices, the K4, the K7 and K10 before later expanding the series to include the K8. LG’s K series of smartphones was meant to take over from the L series which the company had used to reach out to the mid-range market segment without much success.

This year, the K series is being refreshed with a new generation of devices that feature much better designs, improved internals, better cameras and the latest Android 7.0, Nougat.

LG is also refreshing one of its rare offerings these days, a smartphone with a stylus, the Stylus 3 (Stylo 3 in the American market), with a new generation model that packs what is supposedly an upgraded stylus (LG talks of the “1.8mm diameter fiber-tip stylus”).
