The Infinix Note 5 is undoubtedly the best Infinix smartphone that we have had yet. The device, which prominently features Android One complimented with impressive specs was rumoured to be launching alongside a more powerful sibling that not only featured better specifications but also included a stylus.

When launch day came, there was no mention of an Infinix Note 5 with a stylus but it seems that prayers have been answered as Infinix has confirmed the availability of an Infinix Note 5 Stylus towards the end of August.

The Infinix Note 5 Stylus maintains the same 6-inch FullHD+ Display in an 18:9 aspect ratio. Other similarities include Android One with Oreo 8.1 on board, Helio P23 Processor and a 16MP selfie shooter. Changes include a 16MP lens over a 12MP lens on the standard Note 5, 4GB RAM, 64GB internal storage and a smaller 4000mAh battery that you have a stylus to thank for.

Clearly, you can see that Infinix has tried to differentiate this phone from the standard model, even going as far as using aluminium for the body as opposed to the shiny plastic body we find on the Note 5. The superiority of the Infinix Note 5 Stylus is also evident on the price tag, which grows from Kes.17,939 to around Kes.25,000.

Infinix Note 5 Stylus Implementation

We cannot comment on the functionality of the X-Pen, but seeing that Infinix has even changed the implementation – it is now an in-body stylus as opposed to the last generation stylus that was attached to the flip case, we could see improved usage making the X-Pen more than just a once-in-a-while accessory.

Those who were holding out to get the Infinix Note 5 Stylus can start celebrating.
