They have been in the market for over a decade where they deal with data recovery and cloud backup. The company was founded in 2003 where they were the pioneer in providing data recovery solutions in Kenya to the small and medium enterprises and now they have over 10,000 customers.

“In order to expand our business and clarify our brand position in the IT industry, we are delighted to announce the change in our company name from Compfix Data Limited to Evail,” David Njoroge, Founder and Technical Director said. “We take this opportunity to thank our customers for their continued support throughout the years and we welcome onboard new customers to join us in our new journey.”

In line with the rebrand, they have also announced that they are venturing into new solutions which include disaster recovery as a service, cyber security, compute, strage and privileged access management.

Disaster recovery will involve providing a temporary failover site for enterprise which is offering enterprises redundancy while they seek to fix issues that may have affected the production site. Cyber security will involve ensuring the security of customer data and accessibility of information while privileged access management will involve enhanced security solutions that they will provide to enterprises.

Mr Njoroge noted that these were being offered by other players in the industry but Evail will be differentiating themselves by partnering with vendors whose products have been proven in the market.

Evail says that the firm has planned to continue to heavily invest in the business, especially in research, new infrastructure as well as human resources to service its customers.
