It is has been over a month since Samsung announced its flagship Galaxy S20 series which came with new camera features in tow. Samsung has the habit of updating their previous flagship phones with features from the new phone and that is what they have done.
Samsung today has announced that they will push some new camera features present in the Galaxy S20 series to the Galaxy S10 and Galaxy Note 10 series. This will be pushed through an upcoming software update starting from March.
The Galaxy S10 and Note 10 series will get such features as Single Take, improved Night Mode, Custom Filter, and Pro Video.
Single Take allows you to take a number of photos and videos and the phone will recommend the best shot for you. The improved Night Mode and Night Hyperlapse will allow the S10 and Note 10 series users to take even better photos and videos in low light. Custom Filter allows you to create your own filters and Pro video gives you more control over your video settings.
The new update will also add more features to the gallery which includes a more intelligent gallery. If you enable “clean view”, it will automatically group together similar shots of the same subject. Quick share will allow you to share quickly to your nearby contacts and Music share can extend your paired Bluetooth connection.
It is pretty cool that the Galaxy S10 and Galaxy Note 10 series owners are getting such updates that improve their phones. This update will make the much cheaper Galaxy S10 a viable option for some people looking to upgrade.
