Xiaomi Kenya sent us a generous Christmas package, which we have since unboxed and examined. We went further by creating a video about the products, which we would like for you to watch and consider if any of the devices are useful to you and whether you would be willing to spend your hard-earned money on them.

Right off the bat…

Mi Electric Toothbrush for KES 4500

This toothbrush typically features advanced brushing modes, long battery life, and smart connectivity, allowing users to track their brushing habits and receive real-time feedback via a mobile app. It is a solid choice for those looking for an affordable and high-quality electric toothbrush

It has a long battery life, allowing users to go up to three weeks between charges

It can also be connected to a mobile app, which allows users to track their brushing habits and receive real-time feedback on their brushing technique.

Redmi Watch 2 Lite for KES 7500

The Redmi Watch 2 Lite is a budget-friendly smartwatch produced by Redmi. It has a 1.4-inch square-shaped display with a resolution of 320 x 320 pixels, it’s powered by a Qualcomm wearable platform, and it has a 220mAh battery that can last up to 10 days of usage.

It supports a wide range of fitness tracking features such as heart rate monitoring, sleep tracking, and 11 sports modes. It also has a range of watch faces and notifications for calls, messages, and app notifications.

It’s also water resistant up to 5ATM, which means it can withstand immersion in water to a depth of 50 meters. Additionally, it supports Bluetooth 5.0 and is compatible with both iOS and Android devices.

The earphones have a 7.2mm dynamic driver and support for AAC codec, providing a good sound quality.

They have a battery life of up to 12 hours with the charging case and a quick charge feature that provides 3 hours of listening time after just 10 minutes of charging.

They also have an in-ear detection sensor that automatically pauses the music when you remove the earbuds.

They are also IPX5 rated, meaning they are resistant to water and sweat, making them suitable for sports and workout activities.

They also have touch controls and it’s compatible with both iOS and Android devices.

Mi Robot Vacuum Mop 2 for KES 45,000

The Mi Robot Vacuum Mop 2 is equipped with a suction and a mopping system that can clean and mop your floors at the same time.

It has a powerful suction of 2000Pa and a high-precision laser sensor that can scan and map your home in real time. It can clean for up to 3 hours on a single charge and has a dustbin capacity of 420ml.

It also comes with a set of features such as automatic room recognition, selective room cleaning, and an app-controlled schedule, allowing you to schedule cleaning, track the robot’s progress, and control it remotely.

Additionally, it has voice command compatibility with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant, which makes it easy to control the robot with your voice.

Mi Smart Speaker at KES 7,000

This speaker is powered by an AI-based virtual assistant that allows you to control your smart home devices, play music, set reminders, and more.

The speaker features a 12W audio driver, which delivers fairly powerful and clear sound.

It also has a built-in microphone array that can pick up your voice from across the room, even when you’re playing music.

It’s compatible with Xiaomi’s Mi Home ecosystem and other popular smart home devices like Google Home and Amazon Alexa.

Additionally, it has a sleek and modern design and can be used as a Bluetooth speaker as well.

Mi Smart Kettle for KES 5,000

This kettle has a capacity of 1.5L and can heat water up to 100°C and features a double-walled stainless steel design, which keeps the water warm for a longer time and prevents heat loss.

It also has a built-in temperature sensor and a heating element that can boil water quickly and efficiently, and a LED screen that displays the temperature in real time.

Additionally, it is also equipped with a safety feature that automatically switches off the kettle when the water reaches the desired temperature, or when the kettle is empty.

It also has preset temperature modes for different types of tea and coffee, allowing you to brew the perfect cup every time.
