The inaugural Africa Digital Finance Summit will take place in South Africa from May 24th to May 26th, 2023, and will bring together experts in the fields of digital and finance from around the world.
The event, which is being sponsored by over 30 partners and has already attracted over 2500 registered attendees, will feature keynote speeches and panel discussions by over 70 speakers from more than 40 countries.
It will focus on the future of finance in Africa, with an emphasis on how the continent can leverage decentralized finance to transform businesses and everyday transactions.
Topics to be discussed include policies and legislation, blockchain technology, and the convergence of various transformational technologies to drive socio-economic growth in Africa.
The goal of the summit is to position Africa as a leader in digital finance innovation and implementation and to encourage African governments and private sector players to take advantage of the opportunities presented by the digital economy.
