EcoFlow KICC solar expo

Climate change, high energy costs, and the high cost of living have seen people seek alternative and greener energy sources. Thus, households and institutions alike have been on the market for reliable and affordable solar solutions.

This has been the safest bet to reduce costs.

EcoFlow, a company on a mission to create the most innovative, eco-friendly power solutions for society has launched in Kenya. From the 18th to the 20th of May, EcoFlow is showcasing its range of innovative power products at the 8th Solar Expo.

The event is at the Kenyatta International Conference Centre (KICC).

This year’s event has exhibitors from East and Central Africa, as demand for Solar products grows in Africa.

“We are thrilled to participate in the Solar Africa Exhibition and showcase our latest energy solutions to potential customers and partners in Kenya”; said Joy Wu, EcoFlow’s Head of LAME and, APAC.

Emphasizing their commitment to green innovative solutions, she added:

“Our products are designed to meet the energy needs of individuals, households, and businesses. Our solutions provide a reliable and sustainable source of power, reducing reliance on traditional grid power and contributing to a cleaner and greener future”

Kenya is prepared to spend USD 2.1 billion on electrification in off-grid areas focusing on renewable-powered mini-grids.

On the consumer side, it is estimated that about 25,000 to 30,000 solar PV products are traded annually in the Kenyan market . Furthermore, at least every household has owned at least one solar PV product.

This means EcoFlow’s entry into the market is well-timed.

EcoFlow’s Expertise and Markets

The company has headquarters located in the USA, Germany, and Japan. In addition, EcoFlow has empowered more than 2 million users in over 100 markets worldwide. Indeed, this shows they have the capacity to offer solutions to Kenyans who are now embracing alternative energy sources.

Hence, the exhibition is a good chance for consumers to learn and interact with the products EcoFlow will showcase at the Expo. Furthermore, EcoFlow’s experts are at the Expo for one-to-one interaction with visitors to their stand.
