The itel S24 is one of the few budget smartphones that I have been really impressed with. It’s very clear that the manufacturer is looking to lead in a price range that is often looked down on by many reviewers and consumers alike. But for a phone that is supposed to be as affordable as possible, it was quite surprising to see a phone that does not only that but also offers features that would be associated with phones of a higher price range.
The itel S24 comes with an LCD display that isn’t the best out there but is still smooth and bright enough at a refresh rate range of 60Hz to 90Hz. As expected, the higher refresh rate would eat up alot of your power.
The phone is powered by a Mediatek Helio G91 Ultra processor paired up with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of expandable storage. With this, you can expect seamless runs on your daily apps and ample multitasking without having to worry about your memory space. The phone also comes with Android 14 out of the box so you don’t get to worry about the latest software updates.
As for the cameras, here’s where the S24 impresses coming in with a 108MP main camera that we found to bring some competition to some midrange devices. The main camera will offer you a good enough field of view if you wish to take wide shots as well. At the front lies an 8MP selfie camera.
Power was also the least of our issues with this device thanks to the 5000mAh battery that charges at 18W. This means you get to fully charge you phone from 0% in a little over an hour, give or take.
There is so much to look at with the itel S24 as it’s a phone that we believe would surprise many consumers especially those looking to upgrade on their budget smartphones.
