Gemini Live is an AI assistant designed to provide real-time assistance by processing visual information from your device’s camera or screen. This allows users to engage in dynamic conversations with the AI, receiving immediate feedback and support.
Key Features
- Camera Sharing: Activate live video mode by tapping the camera icon within the Gemini Live interface. Point your camera at an object or scene, and the AI will analyze and provide relevant information or suggestions.
- Screen Sharing: Share your device’s screen by selecting the screen-sharing option. This enables Gemini Live to view the content displayed and assist with tasks such as online shopping, document editing, or navigating apps.
How to Use Gemini Live:
- On Pixel 9 Devices:
- Press and hold the power button.
- Tap the “Live” button (depicted as three lines next to the microphone icon).
- Choose between the camera and screen-sharing options at the bottom of the interface.
- On Samsung Galaxy S25 Devices:
- Press and hold the side power button.
- Tap the “Live” button to access the Gemini Live interface.
- Select the desired sharing option to begin interaction.
Applications
- Shopping Assistance: While browsing products online, use screen sharing to get comparisons, reviews, or additional information about items.
