Infinix has finally launched the Note 50 Pro Series that comes with a combination of premium materials and AI-powered features. The standout model, the Infinix Note 50 Pro, introduces several industry firsts while still maintaining a competitive price point.
The Note 50 Pro features the industry’s first true metal frame in a smartphone, using a proprietary ArmorAlloy material that combines Damascus steel with aerospace-grade aluminum.
This construction is made possible through HyperCasting technology, a one-piece die-casting process borrowed from automotive manufacturing.
In addition, the phone’s ShockAbsorb buffer system provides TÜV SÜD-certified drop resistance, while the 4.5G Open-Air Network Structure improves signal reception, WiFi speed, and GPS accuracy.
Advanced Charging
The Note 50 Pro comes equipped with All-Round Fast Charging 3.0 technology, offering 90W wired charging with three distinct modes: Smart, Turbo, and Low-Temperature.
The 5200mAh battery can fully charge in 38 minutes and maintains over 80% capacity after 2,300 cycles (approximately six years of use).
Additional power features include a PowerReserve mode that provides 2.2 hours of calls on just 1% battery and both wired (10W) and wireless (7.5W) reverse charging capabilities.
One-Tap AI Integration
Infinix has also introduced Folax to the Note 50 Pro, its first AI assistant that users can activate with a long press of the power button. This system offers:
- Real-time content recognition and translation without switching apps
- Q&A functionality and on-screen content identification
- Cross-app voice commands for everyday tasks
- AI-powered writing assistance and image generation
- Real-time call translation and summaries
- Automatic privacy protection for sensitive information
Performance and Gaming
Powered by the 6nm Helio G100 chip, the Infinix Note 50 Pro delivers enhanced network performance with download speeds up to 167% faster than standard 4G.
The Game Assistant XBOOST feature provides quick access to different performance modes and includes multitasking capabilities like memory cleaning and call rejection.
Thermal management is handled by a thin VC vapor chamber and super graphite layer, while an X-axis linear motor delivers precise haptic feedback during gaming.
Built-in Health Monitoring
Unlike most smartphones, the Note 50 Pro includes integrated SpO2 and heart rate monitoring. Users can simply place their finger on the rear sensor to receive real-time health metrics through the My Health app, without requiring external devices.
Camera and Display
The Note 50 Pro features a 50MP main camera with AI RAW processing for improved night and backlit photography. The display is a 144 Hz 6.78-inch AMOLED panel with up to 1300 nits peak brightness and TÜV Rheinland low blue light certification.
Other features include a 112° ultra-wide-angle lens, Bio-Active Halo AI lighting system for notifications, JBL dual speakers, IP64 dust and water resistance, and infrared remote control functionality.
Pricing and Availability
The Infinix Note 50 Pro, which was available for pre-order in Kenya at KES 31,999 (approximately $250 USD), is now available for purchase on the Infinix website or in stores countrywide.
