Infinix Hot 60 Pro+ Could Be the World’s Thinnest Curved Display Phone

Infinix Hot 60 Pro+ Leaked Design

Lately, the smartphone world has been witnessing a battle of millimeters, where manufacturers are pushing the boundaries of engineering to create the thinnest device possible. Samsung recently unveiled its Galaxy S25 Edge, which measures an incredibly slim 5.8mm. Now, Infinix has emerged as a challenger, with the Hot 60 Pro+.

The smartphone maker that’s known for their budget-friendly devices is preparing to launch the Hot 60 Pro+ with a thickness of just 5.95mm. While this makes it slightly thicker than Samsung’s S25 Edge by a mere 0.15mm, the upcoming device could still claim the title of world’s thinnest curved display smartphone when it arrives.

A good place to focus on is the weight comparison. Despite its slight thickness, the Hot 60 Pro+ weighs just 154.6 grams, making it nearly 10 grams lighter than the Galaxy S25 Edge’s 163.8 grams.

This weight advantage implies some clever engineering choices that could make the device more comfortable for extended use.

The design philosophy behind the Hot 60 Pro+ emphasizes just how remarkably thin modern smartphones can become. Leaked images show the device’s profile is comparable to stacking four credit cards or three coins on top of each other.

When placed side by side with a standard iPhone, the difference in thickness becomes very apparent, proving just how far smartphone design has evolved.

Exclusive!
The latest news, after Samsung S25 Edge, another new phone with a thickness of less than 6mm! The model is Infinix HOT 60 Pro+, which is 5.95mm thick and will set a new record for the thinnest curved screen phone. The product has been mass-produced and feels very… pic.twitter.com/kCaWqfY2ie

From a visual standpoint, the Hot 60 Pro+ maintains the premium aesthetic expected from modern flagships. The device features elegantly curved sides that should provide a comfortable grip despite the ultra-thin profile.

The rear houses a triple camera system with slightly protruding lenses, a necessary compromise when trying to fit quality camera sensors into such a constrained space.

The bottom edge accommodates all the essential connectivity features, including the SIM tray, speakers, microphone, and USB Type-C port.

In addition to that, the Hot 60 Pro+ has been described as having a massive battery capacity. Battery technology has long been the limiting factor in ultra-thin smartphone design, as reducing thickness typically means sacrificing battery life.

If Infinix has managed to pack substantial battery capacity into this svelte frame, it could indicate a major breakthrough in smartphone design.

The Infinix Hot 60 Pro+ appears to be a major evolution from its predecessor, the Hot 50 Pro+, which measured 6.8mm thick and weighed 162 grams.

That previous model featured a MediaTek Helio G100 processor, curved AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate, Gorilla Glass protection, and a 5,000 mAh battery with 33 W fast charging. The new model is expected to offer upgrades across the board while achieving this thinner profile.

This development places Infinix in direct competition not just with Samsung, but potentially with Apple’s rumored iPhone 17 Air, which is expected to measure just 5.5mm when it launches in September.

However, these devices will likely target different market segments, with the Hot 60 Pro+ positioned as a more accessible option compared to premium flagships from Samsung and Apple.
