Spam alert!! Facebook is autotagging on images

Facebook spam tags

Seems facebook users never learn when warned about spam. You see a new link that promises you heaven and you will click it almost with closed eyes.

A while ago i couldnt go online to all of my friends because there was a link that was sending itself automatically on user chats, unknown to the sender. If you go ahead and click the link you then proceed to become another sender.

Seriously viral!!

I havent as yet undone my move of going offline to all. So i dont know if the spam is still on.

Now the application spammers have upped their game, and this time they are posting some semi-nude imaged and if you click on the link you find this image with this message caption.

LOL !! Me cant believe that you can see who is viewing your profile! I can see the TOP 10 people and I am really OPENMOUTHED that my EX is still checking my Pix and my Profile every hour. You can also see WH0 CHECKS YOUR PR0FILE here->

Dont go ahead and click this one, i am alerting you. Here are the tagged images that you see on the facebook home page stream.

Facebook spam tagsOn clicking on one of the images you then find the image with the maximum number of name tags that facebook allows. Checking clearly the time shows its all been done a minute ago. I know you are fast adoing many things, but you cant tag 36 of your friends to an image in a minute.

My profile views spam

Well, i dont know whats possible and whats not, but judging by what happened last year where my female friends everywhere were complaining that their facebook accounts were compromised, you never know. All i can tell you is that it would be really exciting if one of the guys you tag semi-nude images would be your parent………….or your boss.

What can you do to be safe from this? Ask me and i will answer in the comments section.

Many FB users are unaware but some of the spam apps that keep posting on your wall like…”find out who your top stalker is”, it’s not a must that you installed it on your FB.

When tagged in a spammy photo, they’ll often contain the app and it takes advantage of privilege and weasels unto your account.

It is easy to sort it out, once you untag, it’ll stop posting on your wall 🙂

  2. The auto-tagging images on facebook can really have a bad effect on a company brand. When you are an entrepreneur like me and some of your friends are clients, you’ll need to disable the tag function on facebook so that no one can see which pictures you are tagged in, as Martin has mentioned in this brilliant article. This will help you avoid your brand from being damaged
