Nokia 103 is not yet announced in the press, but the datasheet is already out and the device promises 27 days of standby, 11 hours talktime with the 800mAh battery. The phone is yet another Series 30 OS phone. Nokia calls it Nokia’s most affordable mobile phone for first time buyers, expected to sell at around $20.
The phone specs are dustproof keypad, 3.5 mm jack, 250sms storage, 500 phone book entries, GSM 900/1800, dimensions are 107.2 x 45.1 x 15.3 mm, weighing 76.57grams, no colour here, its fully black and white unlike the Nokia 100. It uses the 2mm charger connector. Accessories for this phone are Nokia stereo headset WH-102, Nokia Compact Travel Charger AC-5 and a Nokia Mini Speaker MD-8. Included in the package are the Compact charger AC-3, compact visual user guide, Nokia 103 headset and the BL-5CB battery.
At this level it would be ridiculous to forget the flashlight, that is included, then there are the small nitties like the time tracker, polyphonic ringtones, S30 games preloaded, speaking alarm clock(remember Nokia 1100?).
Nokia 103 will be introduced in the market in Q2 of this year, and as expected, this one will sell only in the emerging markets.
