Nokia now has a patent in its wallet to have default sharing integration to most apps including Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. Android is one fluid OS and makes sharing so easy. Nokia must have felt the need to achieve that fluidity when they filed for this patent in the year 2008. Apparently what is available in Ovi share wasnt much value. Well they have already been granted the power to share. Kinda wanna make money off this. The image below shows that the patent was filed and granted for a Series 60 device. Nokia seems to want to revolutionize the mobile sharing experience, try to beat what’s available in other platforms like Android.
So in most of Nokia applications you will be able to choose to which social network or application you want to auto-share to. Autosharing options listed in the images used for the patent shows Nokia intends to go all social like Google has been doing with most of its services. What remains to be seen is if this will be limited to this kind of form factor, as clearly the world is going away from the candybar qwerty form factor of the Blackberry.
