As expected, Nokia is pushing for adoption of Windows phone from all ends, top, mid and low end, which is naturally how best to ensure as much adoption of the platform as possible. Now WPCentral got wind of a Lumia 510 headed to China thanks to a certification process(that sounds wrong, since they are manufactured there anyway). This is a low end device, lower than the Lumia 610, the numbering says it all. Now this device spots Windows Phone 7.5 upgradable to 7.8, an assumption is that this will happen when Microsoft opens up the upgrade floodgates globally. The images are actually renders and not actual images, so we rely on the specs picked off the source, and here goes:
- 4 “LCD screen,
- 5MP camera (no flash), no front camera
- 120.7 x 64.9 x 11.51 (mm),
- 129 (g)
- GSM-WCDMA-HSPA
- 800MHz MSM7227A
- 256MB RAM
- Windows Phone 7.5/7.8
