You might as well for the time being scratch the story that we posted earlier about the LG Nexus 4 that was rumored to be launched in the end of October. There is an earshot of the HTC Nexus 5 name. As the first year anniversary gets nearer a good number of us are eager for a new Nexus from Google.
This rumor comes today just a few hours after HTC formally announced their HTC phablet which comes with a 5-inch 1920x1080p full HD (440ppi) display, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, a quad-core Snapdragon S4 processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage and the other specs we are fond of.
Since the rumored HTC Nexus 5 has a 5 inch display it would a nice match to its name.
For now this is entirely a rumor and guesswork, and many are still stating the HTC device will in fact land as an exclusive in the US on Verizon as the DROID Incredible X
