The gap between feature phones and smartphone keeps thinning as OEMs add more spart-phone features into low end feature phones. Mi-Fone is a brand that sells devices aimed at the entry level and mass market, mostly in Africa. Email is one very important feature in a phone in the 21st century but users in the low end dont have a very important email feature that is push email.

Pushing email enables you to read and respond to email in real-time. Mi-Fone has since partnered with EMOZE to add that feature in two of Mi-Fone feature phones, the Mi-Q400 and Mi-210 were announced donning this technology that will see email and IM peep into feature phones in style.

EMOZE, the technology behind it, is fixed into the operating system and doesnt require any middleware or run-time environment to load, on switching the phone, the service becomes active. This technology can work with any IP-Based network and doesnt require SMS integration.
