I have had shoulder side strap bags for quite some time now. For some reason they have been my favourite, mainly for their easy style and the fact that the ones I have have received some accolades from my peers saying they are quite nice looking. Well options are always welcome, and particularly where you want to factor in comfort. We all have to agree the side strap bag is not the most comfortable of them all. I know it has the advantage in that it’s not limiting in the type of clothes you can wear with. But backpacks are already accepted as standard even when you have your tuxedo to some meeting.
That’s why I ended at Gearzap windows shopping and got this nice looking bag that promised beauty and brains. The RivaCase 8160 Backpack was my choice, black.
This bag stands out in its neatness, the minimalist design with some well concealed pockets, 10 of them. You will also be pleasantly surprised to learn that it’s waterproof. The back end even has a nice pocket you can slide your hand to keep a handkerchief or bus ticket in a place that is accessble without going through zips. On the straps end, we have some well padded straps and cover. You can actually do long distances with it as it feels quite easy to fit. I use a 15.6 inch Notebook and it fits quite well, pens have their place and other documents too. I even have two slots for my water bottle that I rarely carry. I need to start now.
The laptop compartment is made in such a way that the laptop wont be going all the way to the bottom when you hang it or place it on the ground. It’s got some firmness to it. Black was my colour of choice though there is other colours like Blue for those with colour preferences.
Shipping as always is three days from the Birmingham office to Nairobi Kenya via DHL. You can tell these guys have served me before by now, can’t you? If you intend to get a Laptop bag, I recommend you talk to a guy named Ross Hampl, he will take you through the process swiftly should you choose to shop with them.
