LG G Pad 8.3

LG G Pad 8.3This is not new from LG, announcing a device before the actual announcement. They did that with the LG G2 whose cases were already out before the device unveiling. Well they have gone a notch higher by announcing their tablet, the 8.3 inch LG G Pad that’s gonna be launched at IFA in Berlin on Wednesday the 4th. But with Samsung also unveiling devices the same day, you are bound to understand LG’s position. Every blogger and journalist will be all over Samsung with the Galaxy Note III and Galaxy Gear and LG will barely be noticed amidst the haze.

So what do we have inside the LG G Pad?

  • A name that looks like it came from Apple
  • 8.3 inches of 1900 x 1200 pixels, 273ppi
  • Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean
  • 1.7Ghz QUad-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600
  • 16GB internal memory
  • 2GB RAM
  • 5MP camera rear and a 1.3 MP front
  • weighs 338 grams
  • 4600 Mah Battery
  • Colours: Black and White

It will sell starting fourth quarter worldwide starting with North America, Europe and Asia. No mention of price or whether there will be a 3G/4G/WiFi options. Maybe these are the launch details.
