The Galaxy Gear firmware update that has been rolling out to users of the smartwatch in European countries is finally hitting the US shores. And it is not just that, it will have an enhanced Smart Relay feature which is touted to assist with “seamless actions” from the watch to the phone and more improvements to the feature that wakes the clock when you lift up your hand to check the time as displayed by the gadget on your wrist.
The Galaxy Gear, according to Samsung, has hit the 800,000 shipped units mark recently and despite facing many challenges when it was launched, many of these are slowly being addressed through firmware updates.
