Good things aren’t cheap. At least that’s the message you get when you look at the Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S6 Edge and according to Sammobile, that’s entirely true as prices for the Galaxy S6 and the S6 Edge will range from €699 all the way to €1049.
The 32 GB Galaxy S6 which is the base model and the one you’re likely to see everywhere soon, will be priced at €699. The 64 GB version will go for €799 while the 128 GB version has its marked price at €899. The Galaxy S6 Edge will be pricier than the Galaxy S6. This is to be expected since it was also the case with the Galaxy Note Edge when it went on sale last year. If you want to be on the bleeding edge of technology you’re going to pay for it dearly. For €849 you’ll get the base model (32 GB). €949 will get you the 64 GB Galaxy S6 Edge while the 128 GB version goes for a steep €1049.
Mind you these are not even country-specific rates. For those in countries where carrier plans/subsidies exist, you won’t have to pay amounts in the regions highlighted here as these are rates for the unlocked devices. Still, depending on the tax situation, they may be revised upwards by the time the devices are available in your market. It is important to note that as much as the prices are steep with increase in internal storage, more is always better since with the S6/S6 Edge you won’t have the luxury of extending your limited storage using a microSD card.
The Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge go on sale on April 10th in select markets with a wider rollout expected everywhere within weeks of that initial availability.
