[Video] TekITnGo : The Asus Zenbook 14 Review

Asus brought 2 premium laptops to the Kenyan market. The Zenbook Pro 14 UX480 which we reviewed earlier and now the Zenbook 14 UX433.

In this video in the TekITnGo series, Martin Githinji reviews the Zenbook 14 UX433, showing you its unique selling points and how it differentiates from its more expensive sibling, the UX480.

The UX433 is the cheaper version of the Zenbook Pro 14 UX480 that we reviewed earlier but does not mean that it is not capable.

It has a few unique aspects to it. It is smaller than the UX480 making it more portable. It has the same metal chassis which makes the laptop feel quite premium.

The display is a great 1080p unit with great colour accuracy and minimal bezels. The trend of having tiny bezels makes these new generation of Asus laptops look sleek and it is a legitimate envy.

The other unique feature of the Zenbook 14 is the touchpad. Asus calls it the NumberPad and it is quite cool. If you press on a virtual button at the top right, it displays a virtual number pad that you can use to input numbers quickly. It is a major differentiator with the UX480 which has a ScreenPad.

The rest of the specifications include either a Core i5 8265U or Core i7 8565U processor, NVIDIA MX150 GPU, 8GB or 16GB of DDR4 RAM, 512 or 1TB of SSD storage, 1 USB 3.1 Type C port (10Gbps speed), 1 USB 3.1 Type A port, 1 USB 2.0 Type A port,1 HDMI port and a MicroSD card reader. The keyboard is backlit too.
