Huawei launched the Y9s recently to the Kenyan market and it seemed like a lovechild to the Y9 Prime 2019 and the P30 Lite New edition. Well now, the company is now launching a pre-order campaign for the phone.
Huawei Mobile Kenya has rolled out a one week campaign where people will get a chance to pre-order the device. Customers who will preorder the Y9s will get free headphones in all retail stores across the country. Huawei says hat the Y9s will be available in the market beginning December 1st for Kshs 31,999.
“We are confident that over 1000 pre-orders will be made in the coming week ahead of the official availability of the devices in all our retail stores beginning of December,” Huawei Mobile Kenya Country President said.
The Huawei Y9s is the company’s latest smartphone to the Kenyan market. It features a notchless 6.59 inch 2340 x 1080 pixel dense display. The back is made of glass with a nice colour gradient and features a quad camera system. The front camera is on a motorized system that pops up when you want to take a selfie.
The Huawei Y9s has pretty nice cameras. You get a quad camera system array at the back that features a main 48MP camera sensor, an 8MP ultra wide angle camera and two 2MP sensors. The front camera is a 16MP unit.
It still runs on the reliable and fast Huawei’s own Kirin 710F processor which is backed by a healthy 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It runs on EMUI 9.1 and has a 4000mAh battery.
