vivo, the Chinese smartphone giant has announced plans to launch their photography focused vivo V20 in Kenya.
The key selling feature of this phone is the 44MP selfie camera that can shoot 4K video which is a feature we mostly see on flagships. In addition to the enormous resolution and 4K video taking capabilities, it can also shoot slow motion selfies, ‘steadiface’ selfie video, dual vide video and super night selfies.
The selfie camera is the highlight of the vivo V20 but they did not skimp on the other cameras too. At the back we have a 64MP main camera, an 8MP wide angle camera with a 120 degree field of view and a 2MP macro camera. The main camera can shoot 4K videos too at 30fps like the selfie camera.
The rest of the phone is quite balanced too. The V20 has a 6.44 inch 1080p AMOLED display with a notch. It is powered by the Snapdragon 720G and has 8GB of RAM with either 128GB or 256GB of internal storage. The phone is powered by a respectable 4000mAh battery which can be rapidly charged using a 33W charging brick. Other notable features include USB-C port, FM radio, Bluettooth 5.1 support and NFC in some regions. The phone also runs on Android 11 with their Funtouch skin running on top.
