Infinix Note 30 Series to Launch in Kenya Next Week

Infinix has officially launched the much awaited Note 30 series. This is their midrange lineup that sits between the Hot series and the flagship Zero series. The Note 30 series includes Note 30 Play(NFC), Note 30, Note 30 Pro and Note 30 5G.

The whole lineup features heavy specs including the company’s new All-Round FastCharge technology that offers upto 68W of fast wired charging via PD 3.0.

This new feature also brings fast wireless charging(15W), reverse wired charging and reverse wireless charging as well to the midrange series.

All of them have 5000mAh batteries except for the Play version that has 6000mAh battery and supports 18W wirees charging. The Note 30 Pro supports 68W charging(empty to 80% in 30 minutes) while the other two support 45W charging – 9V/5A for the LTE version and 10V/4.5A for the 5G version.

The Note 30 series gets powered by MediaTek chipsets with the Note 30 Play getting Helio G37, Note 30 and Note 30 Pro getting Helio G99 and the Note 30 Pro getting Dimensity 6080.

RAM options start at 4GB for the 30 Play and 8GB of onboard RAM and 8GB of virtual RAM for the rest of the series.

All of them have 6.78″ LCD screens with 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate except for the Note 30 Play which has a 6.82″ screen with 90Hz refresh rate. The Note 30 Pro has an AMOLED screen with 360Hz touch sampling rate and 900 nits in terms of brightness.

They all share NFC, headphone jacks, Type-C charging ports, side mounted fingerprint readers and most importantly JBL tuned dual stereo speakers.

They all ship with Android 13 and XOS 13 except for the 30 Play which has XOS 12.6.

All three come with 16MP punchhole selfie cameras except for the 30 Play which has an 8MP selfie camera while the Pro has a 32MP selfie camera.

The 30 Play has a 16MP primary lens and an AI lens while the Pro has a 108MP main lens. The other two sport 64MP main lens with 2MP depth and an AI lens as well.

Video recording is capped at 2K(1440p) for the main and 1080p fro the front camera.

All of them come in Magic Black, Interstellar Blue, and Sunset Gold except for the 30 Play version which will be in Mirage Black, Blade White and Bora Purple.

Infinix says that the phones will retail under $300 but we’ll see local pricing when the lineup launches later next week(2nd June) in the country.
