Spotify New Interface on the Galaxy Z Fold4

While all the attention will be on the clamshell style Z Flip5, Samsung will be announcing the Galaxy Z Fold5 to accompany it.

The foldable smartphone market has heated up in recent months with Samsung’s rivals joining in on the fun.

Samsung will power the Z Fold5 with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy paired with 12GB RAM and UFS 4.0 storage option starting at 256GB and going all the way to 1TB. It will come with Android 13 and One UI 5.1.1 upgradeable all the way to Android 17.

The biggest change will be the new hinge that allows the phone to fold completely shut. The hinge is expected to reduce the crease as well.

The Z Fold5 will have a 7.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED(2X) inner display sporting 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ support. The cover display is a 6.2-inch Dynamic AMOLED(2X) screen with the same 120Hz refresh rate and has Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 vs Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 Comparison Review: Significant Step Up

For cameras, Samsung has equipped the Z Fold5 with five cameras – a 50MP(with OIS) triple main setup which includes a 12MP telephoto with OIS and 3X optical zoom and a 12MP ultrawide. We also have a 4MP under display and a 10MP selfie camera on the cover screen.
