Xiaomi Kenya has announced October 23rd as the launch date for the Redmi 12 in the country. It has a stylish design and slim design. The new Redmi 12 replaces the plastic back panel with a cleaner new design of front and back panels crafted from Gorilla Glass. The Chinese phone maker hasn’t specified the particular version.

Redmi 12’s sides are encased in a plastic frame, available in black, silver, or light blue. Xiaomi has granted the phone an IP53 certification, offering a reasonable level of protection against dust but stopping short of full waterproofing. As such, it’s not suitable for submersion in water.

Notably, the camera modules have individual cut-outs within the case, eschewing the need for a singular border around them. The camera comes equipped with three respectable lenses, offering a level of versatility that is genuinely decent. For music enthusiasts, the phone offers satisfactory speakers, an array of Bluetooth codecs, and the convenience of a 3.5 mm headphone jack.

Xiaomi Redmi 12 is available in three variants: 4 GB RAM / 128 GB storage, 8GB RAM /128GB storage, and 8 GB RAM / 256 GB storage.
