Xiaomi Kenya has announced October 23rd as the launch date for the Redmi 12 in the country. It has a stylish design and slim design. The new Redmi 12 replaces the plastic back panel with a cleaner new design of front and back panels crafted from Gorilla Glass. The Chinese phone maker hasn’t specified the particular version.
Redmi 12’s sides are encased in a plastic frame, available in black, silver, or light blue. Xiaomi has granted the phone an IP53 certification, offering a reasonable level of protection against dust but stopping short of full waterproofing. As such, it’s not suitable for submersion in water.
