Love a song? Now you can share a 30-second preview directly in your DMs. Instead of sending a Spotify or Apple Music link, you can let your friends listen instantly. Just tap the sticker icon in the chat composer, select Music, and choose your favorite track.
The feature is perfect for discovering and sharing new songs without switching apps.
Message Scheduling
Instagram has introduced a message scheduling option. Instagram now lets you schedule messages in advance. Whether it’s a reminder, a birthday wish, or a business announcement, you can plan your messages ahead of time.
How to Use It
- Type your message.
- Hold the send button.
- Select Schedule and set a time.
Messages can be scheduled up to 29 days in advance.
Pinned Messages
To keep important information readily accessible, users can now pin up to three messages at the top of their chat threads. This feature ensures that crucial details remain visible, especially in active conversations. To pin a message:
- Press and hold a chat.
- Tap Pin to keep it at the top.
Translate Messages Instantly
Instagram is breaking down language barriers with message translation support for 99 languages. If you receive a message in a different language, just press and hold it, then tap Translate to see the message in your preferred language.
Invite Friends to Group Chats via QR Code
Group chats just got easier. You can now generate a QR code for your group chat and share it with others. Anyone who scans it can join instantly without needing an invitation link.
How to Create a QR Code
- Open the group chat.
- Tap the group name at the top.
- Select Invite Link → Choose QR Code.
This makes it super convenient for event planning, study groups, or community discussions.
