realme has announced the global launch of its new flagship device, the realme GT3, at the Mobile World Congress 2023.
The handheld features 240W charging power, the highest in the world, which can juice up the phone in minutes or even seconds.
The realme GT Series has been at the forefront of the company’s technological innovations, with each new generation offering cutting-edge technology. The realme GT3 is a speed limit breaker and promises to provide a seamless user experience with its fast charging capabilities.
240W is the maximum charging speed possible under USB-C standards.
realme has achieved this battery and charging innovation with the realme GT3, making it the first brand to mass-produce 240W fast charging.
The device is equipped with three maxed-out charging chipsets, a custom 12A charging cable, and dual GaN charging technology, resulting in a 98.5% improved transfer efficiency during charging.
What’s more, it is equipped with a large VC liquid cooling system, a PS3 fireproof design, 13 temperature sensors, and 60 layers of safety protection to ensure maximum charging safety.

realme has also implemented intelligent charging, which detects the user’s status and switches the charging status to travel mode, sleep mode, or in-car mode. This helps to preserve battery health and avoid overcharging.
According to internal lab testing, the realme GT3 has an 80% lifespan after over 1600 charging cycles with 240W enabled, which is more than double the industry standard of 80% battery health after 800 charging cycles.
It can charge from 1% to 50% in just 4 minutes and can fully charge in 10 minutes.
realme GT3 comes with 8+128GB, 12+256GB, 16+256GB, 16+512GB memory options, and a special 16+1TB variant. It is available in two colours, Pulse White and Booster Black.
It is powered by Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1.
The global recommended retail price of the realme GT3 starts at $649.
