Google Play Store has been updated to version 4.0 with a new design and goes on digital distribution from today. The redesign features bigger images and items with similar themes are grouped together. Android users will also get new recommendations as they scroll down the Google Play Store page.
The check-out process has been simplified and you can now purchase apps, games and books much quicker. The update is expected to reach devices around the world in the next few weeks and will be available for Android 2.2 devices and above.
