Android and iOS users will now be able to access Google Maps Navigation in Kenya. The GPS navigation system will be available for devices running versions of the two systems starting from Android 2.2 and iOS 5.1. Also called a satnav system, it provides voice driving directions at every turn of your journey. The navigation tool gets free regular updates from Google Maps therefore users don’t have to manually update their devices.
The navigation system which is still in its beta version can identify landmarks along the travellers route. Google Maps Navigation comes with new releases of Google Maps which can be downloaded from Google Play and Apple App Store.
