Safaricom Galaxy S 4 pre-order

Samsung Galaxy S 4 will be launched in South Africa this week on Friday. There after shipping of devices starts. Here in Kenya, the Galaxy S 4 will be available for sale from the second week from Safaricom. As usual, this phone will have a stampede judging by the Galaxy S 3 whose first orders run out as soon as the landed in the shops. Safaricom, Kenya’s biggest Mobile Network Operator has opened up pre-orders for the Galaxy S 4 with an amazing price.
At Kshs 57,999 or $725 it will be available for pre-order with a deposit model. The pre-order arrangement is by Kshs 15,000 deposit and the rest payable at the shop as soon as they are in the shelves. Pre-order customers also get 4.5GB data which will be delivered in monthly 1.5GB data bundles over three months. Users have an option to pre-order on-line on the Safaricom Galaxy S 4 microsite or at Nakumatt Wesgate Safaricom shop for collection on the 10th of May.

Safaricom might review the pricing after launch and in their markering material they indicate that customers will be actually paying less by pre-ordering.
